IMPORTANT: COVID-19 UPDATES

For more than a year, we have made changes to our policies and procedures to keep the health and well-being of our customers and employees as our top priority. Late last week, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated their guidelines as it relates to wearing face coverings. As we have throughout the pandemic, we are adjusting our company policies based on the guidance of the CDC.

Therefore, effective Tuesday, May 18, “fully-vaccinated” customers, employees and vendors will be permitted in our facilities without a face covering. In general, people are considered “fully vaccinated” beginning two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series such as Pfizer and Moderna or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

We will also follow our already-established COVID-19 prevention measures including social distancing, physical barriers, etc. within all our facilities.

While we will not require proof of vaccination status, we will continue to request that
non-vaccinated customers wear face coverings in our branches. Updated signage will be posted at the branches. This has been a challenging time and we recognize the important role that each of you has played.

We sincerely thank you for your cooperation and partnership over the last 15 months.

Government financial assistance available for HVAC dealers
Understanding that there are numerous sources of information available, we have synthesized a quick reference document created by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Based on information we have received, if you work with an accountant they will be able to help you complete the simple calculations required to submit your application. We recommend that you reach out to them with questions or to help complete the application.

Essential Services Letter Template for Dealer Use

HVAC has been designated as an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, we have pulled together a “critical infrastructure supplier designation” template that many counties in MICHIGAN are requiring to use. For your convenience, this has been created as an editable PDF that allows you to upload your logo and add company name, employee name and specific job details as often as needed.
